Deborah Copenhaver
Fellows
Deborah Copenhaver Fellows is recognized
throughout the United States for her bronze and silver sculpture,
both small scale and monumental. Her works can be seen in corporate
and private collections, including the United States Capitol
building; the Reagan White House collection; the Hall of Champions
in Colorado Springs, Colorado and in select galleries throughout
North America.
Deborah's monumental scale work
has been commissioned by the University of Texas, the State
of Montana, Inland Northwest Vietnam Veterans, the Kaiser Corporation
and the Hecla Mining Company in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Her first
monument was the Bing Crosby Memorial commissioned by Gonzaga
University in Spokane, Washington.
In 1990 she won the competition
to sculpt the Washington State Korean War Memorial for the state
capitol grounds. With a degree in fine arts, Deborah has continued
to study sculpture and art history in the United States, Italy,
France and Greece. Her natural talent and intuitiveness for
what is correct has been strengthened by many years of study.
Deborah lives with her artist husband Fred Fellows and daughter
Fabienne in Arizona.
